PURPOSE:To enable recording on not only thin sheets but bound notebooks, paper boards and three-dimensional bodies, by a method wherein a heat-fusible supercoolable substance layer provided on a light-transmitting base sheet is brought into contact with an image surface of an original, and is irradiated with flash light from the base sheet side to form a sticky area corresponding to the original image. CONSTITUTION:A bottom surface of a main body 1 is placed on an original image of an original 2, and is moved in the direction of an arrow A. A heat-sensitive sheet 4 is moved, and while it is passed through the region of a pressing means 9, it remains overlapped on the original 2 without slipping relative to the original 2. A flash light source 7 is momentarily turned ON to illuminate the original 2 from the back side 4a of the sheet 4. The transmitted light is absorbed by an image area to generate heat, and the surface of the sheet 4 in an area corresponding to the image area is melted by the heat, forming a sticky image. While the sticky image remains sticky, an arbitrary recording material is placed on a table 3, the bottom surface of the main body 1 is placed thereon, and is moved in the direction of an arrow B. The sheet 4 is moved along an end bent part 9b of the pressing means 9, and the sticky part of a supercoolable substance 4b is transferred onto the recording material, whereby a corresponding image is formed on the recording material. |
