The pipe conduit comprises an inner cylindrical heat pipe conducting a medium at high temp., around which is an insulation. Along the conduit are fitted support sockets with an external dia. corresp. to that of the insulation. Each support socket is formed as a ring body with an internal dia. corresp. to the external dia. of the hear pipe, and contg. A large number of bodies of ceramic, porous material. These bodies are joined to each by an elastic and temp. -resistant binder. The contents of the ring bodies are pref. 38 per cent by volume of ceramic bodies, and 38 per cent by volume of perlite, with the remainder constituted by a silicon rubber binder medium. |
