PURPOSE:To enhance adsorption and elution efficiency and to improve durability, by forming an adsorbent by immobilizing a ligand on a carrier comprising a water dispersible polymer particle having a functional group and a specific particle size through an org. bond. CONSTITUTION:A water dispersible polymer particle having a functional group and a particle size of 0.05-5mum is used as a carrier and a ligand is immobilized on the carrier by a covalent bond to form an adsorbent for affinity chromatography. The water dispersible polymer particle pref. contains a fluoroalkyl acrylate derivative represented by formula I [wherein R<1> is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, R<2> is formula II or III (wherein m is an integer of 0-12, x+y=m+1 and R<3> is hydrogen and an acetyl group), A is hydrogen, fluorine or CF3 and n is an integer of 0-12]. |
