PURPOSE:To calculate the proper quantity of aberration compensation on a body side and to perform high-accuracy focus detection by storing >=2 independent quantities indicating aberrations of an interchangeable photographic lens in the aberration quantity memory means of an interchangeable photographic lens. CONSTITUTION:Image outputs regarding a couple of light images from a photoelectric conversion part AFS are stored in a CCD data memory 12 through a readout part and then a defocusing quantity calculating means 13 calculates the quantity Z of defocusing from the quantity of relative displacement between the couple of light images. A compensating means 21 calculates the quantity deltaof compensation from data on 'open aperture F4 difference ' and 'open aperture F8 difference ' in an aberration data memory 19. The calculated quantity delta of compensation is subtracted by a defocusing quantity calculating means 13 from the quantity Z of defocusing to obtain the quantity (Z-delta) of defocusing, which is transmitted from the correcting means 21 to a display means 31 as data on the position of the best image plane at open aperture. |
