PURPOSE:To provide a decoration sheet or tape which is thin and allows decoration or display having excellent appearance to be conducted on the surfaces of automobile bodies, by providing a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the surface of an ink layer formed by using a printing ink by a printing method. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer 1 is formed on the surface of a mount 3 such as a silicone-treated polyethylene laminated paper, polyethylene terephthalate film, etc. by using an ink having a desired color by a printing method such as screen printing, offset printing, etc. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 (e.g., a thermosetting pressure-sensitive adhesive layer) is formed on the surface of the ink layer 1 by a coating method, etc. and a release paper 4 is provided thereon to obtain the desired decoration sheet or tape. Since the ink layer 1 is formed by a printing method, the sheet or tape can be produced in the form of a film having a thin layer. Thus, when the resulting sheet or tape is stuck on the surface of an automobile body, the surface has no protrusion.
