PURPOSE:To obtain a paint resin compsn. having good compatibility and being scarcely affected by the amount of vinyl monomers to be polymerized, by using two specified resins obtd. by copolymerizing a vinyl monomer mixture and a polyisocyanate compd. as main components. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. contains a first resin (A) obtd. by copolymerizing a first vinyl monomer mixture of styrene monomer, a functional vinyl monomer having a hydroxyl group and copolymerizable with styrene and other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with said functional vinyl monomer, a second resin (B) obtd. by copolymerizing a second vinyl monomer mixture of cellulose acetate butyrate, a functional vinyl monomer having a hydroxyl group and other vinyl monomer copolymerizable with said functional vinyl monomer other than styrene monomer and a polyisocyanate compd. (C) as main components.
