PURPOSE:To prevent hot offset without impairing fluidity and coagulating characteristic, etc., of toner and to improve heat fixing characteristic by incorporating a colorant, binder resin, carboxy-modified polypropyne having an acid value adjusted to 2-50mgKOH/g into a toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains a colorant, binder resin, and carboxy- modified polypropylene having an acid value adjusted to 2-50mgKOH/g. Preferred acid value is 2-20, and preferred mol.wt. is 500-20,000. Preferred proportion of the modified polypropylene to the binder resin is 1-50, more pref. 3-15pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. binder resin. The amt. of the colorant to be used is 2-30, more pref. 5-15pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. binder resin. |
