PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of transaction processing by storing the information showing a transaction enable period despite no input of an identification number to an IC card and discriminating said stored information to carry out the transaction. CONSTITUTION:The information showing a transaction enable period is stored even though no identification number is supplied to an IC card. This information stored in the IC card is read by a card reader 3. A CPU 1 checks whether the date received from a date data generating means is kept or not within the period read by the card reader 3. Then the CPU 1 requests the input of an identification number as long as said date is out of the prescribed period despite no input of the identification number. While no request is given for the input of the identification number if the date is within said period despite no input of the identification number. Then the transaction processing is carried out. |
