<p>PURPOSE:To attain the effective reasoning and to secure the production process approximate to the human thinking by using the different reasoning methods and expressions of knowledge at every knowledge source. CONSTITUTION:The main body 1 of an automatic production process designing system includes a knowledge base store part 2, a reasoning mechanism part 3, a state memory part 4, a CAD drawing converting part 5, an operator interface part 6, and an NC data producing part 7. Then a CAD system 8, a display device 9, a numerical control machine tool 10 an a knowledge base input device 11 are connected to the main body 1. The part 2 stores the knowledge, know- how and data and the part 3 performs reasoning based on the information given from the part 2. The part 4 includes an answer area to store the reasoning situation and the reasoning result and a reasoning control information area to store the reasoning method and stores the information produced when the reasoning is executed.</p> |
