PURPOSE:To display animation data, still picture data, drawn picture data selectively or overlappingly by providing a decoding section and a frame memory storing and synthesizing decoded picture data. CONSTITUTION:An identifier detection section 360 detects data whether it is drawn picture data, still picture data or animation data, teh animation data is sent to an animation decoding section 370a or 370b, the drawn picture data is sent to a drawn picture decoding section 37la, the still picture data is sent to a still picture decoding section 371b. A frame identifier, a device address and a sender switching signal detected by the identifier detection section 360 are sent to a graphic display section 385, and the drawn picture, the still picture and the animation picture and the still animation picture of any 2-terminal equipment of its own terminal equipment and two opposite terminal equipments on the same screen of the frame memory section 38O are subjected to simultaneous display, selective plural split display or overlapped display.
