PURPOSE:To perform the unitary management of a business term, by registering the item name, the attribute of data, the number of digits, and the code information of the business term for the business targeted in a system development, to a data base. CONSTITUTION:The business term for a targeted system, namely, the item name of the data, a general sentence for explanation, the attribute of the data, the number of digits, and the code information when the item name has the code information, are registered by using a registration tool 2 in a data base 1 from a registering picture plane 5. At the manufacturing stage of a program, the registered information is retrieved from the data base 1 by using a retrieving tool 3 as necessary. At the translating time of the program, the attribute information, the number of digits, and the code information of the the operational term designated by the program, are developed from the data base 1, then being translated.
