PURPOSE:To effectively control a priority level, by realizing priority level control among processes only by preparing a priority level register, the queuing buffer of an instruction packet, and a simplified control part which controls them, at a color managing part. CONSTITUTION:A color generator part G, at the time of receiving the instruction packet requesting a new color, receives it at an input register 1, and compares the value of the field 10 of the instruction packet with that of a priority level register 2. As the result of comparison, when the value of the field 10 of the instruction packet is smaller than that of the priority level register 2, the instruction packet is succeeded to the color managing part 4, and the color managing part 4 allocates a color not used at present, and outputs a result to an output register 5. On the other hand, when the value of the field 10 of the instruction packet is larger than that of the priority level register 2, the content of the instruction packet is registered at a queuing buffer 3 to queue a process. The queuing buffer 3 is managed at every priority level.
