PURPOSE:To prevent the position relation between an optical system in a lens holder and a light source held by a support member from varying greatly with external temperature by forming a main support body and the lens holder of a material whose quantity of deformation with temperature is small. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is equipped with the main cylindrical support body formed of the material whose deformation with temperature is small, the holder, and a light source support member which supports a light source whose temperature is controlled by a temperature control means. For example, the support cylinder body 10 consists of a base part 10A whose section is nearly square and a cylinder part 10B which connects with the base part 10A and is sectioned almost in a square shape. Those are both made of invar alloy. The lens holder 20 is also made of invar alloy and a heat radiation block 73 which contacts a Peltier element 60 slides freely to a heat radiation fin coupling block 71, so temperature deformation is therefore absorbed and no force is applied to a laser diode 60 from the side of the Peltier element 61.
