PURPOSE:To eliminate a memo area out of an electronic calculator by providing plural strings of display columns for the display of registration or calculation results. CONSTITUTION:Plural display columns 1 are provided to an electronic calculator for the display of numeric values. The operation keys such as memory keys 2, clear keys 3, call keys as necessary, etc., are provided in response to those columns 1. The result of calculation carried out with the depression of keys 2 is displayed on the corresponding column 1. Thus those results of calculation can be quickly compared with each other on the calculator.
