PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient density for a copy image part corresponding to a bluish image part and to form an excellent copy image by providing a layer made of an anode oxide film for color correction on the reflecting surface of a mirror and setting the chromaticity of the reflecting surface within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The mirror 12 consists of the 1st lower reflecting part 31 and the 2nd upper reflecting part 32 which are formed integrally and the 1st reflecting part 31 and the 2nd reflecting part 32 are so positioned and fixed to a lamp 11 that the reflected light of light projected on the 1st reflecting part 31 by the lamp 11 travels to the lighting area 40 of an original platen 9 directly and the reflected light of light projected on the 2nd reflecting part 32 by the lamp 11 is projected on the 1st reflecting part 31 and reflected to travel to the lighting area 40 of the original platen 9. The reflecting parts are both made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, the layer 50 made of the anode oxide film for color correction is formed over the entire reflecting surface of the 1st reflecting part 31, and the chromaticity of the reflecting surface is within ranges shown by expressions on chromaticity coordinates of an XYZ colorimetric system chromaticity diagram and CIE (Comission of International de l'Eclairage) 1931XYZ colorimetric system.
