PURPOSE:To obtain a portable small sized training device with low cost without needing any electronic exchange by adopting the constitution that a display section, a keyboard and a peripheral equipment such as a memory device are connected to a personal computer being an intelligent terminal used for the operation of an electronic exchange. CONSTITUTION:Various status lists (menu) for the command operation training are displayed on a display section 12. The operators select one state desired for their own selection among menus. The state is read by a central control section 9 and the state stored in a memory 10 is displayed on the display section 12. When the operator applies a command to solve the state from a keyboard 11, the central control section 9 comopres the said command with the command stored in the memory 10 and when the result of comparison shows dissidence, the incorrect state of the applied command is displayed on the display section 12 and a hint is also displayed. The operator applies the command again according to the hint, and the central cotnrol section 9 compares the command with the command stored in the memory 10. When the result of comparison shows coincidence, the normal end of the command is displayed on the display section 12.
