PURPOSE:To simply fit two electrodes to an accurate position by bending both ends of a metallic piece so as to be opposed to form the two electrodes, bonding both ends of a link of the metallic piece connecting both the electrodes to an electronic circqit board, immersing the board to a liquid and cutting off the strip link by discharge. CONSTITUTION:The metallic flat strip 10 is bent to form the electrodes l0a, l0b at both ends and the link l0c is formed to be floated upward from bottoms l0d, l0e of the electrodes 10a, l0b. The metallic piece 10 is made adhere to the bottoms 10d,10e at a prescribed position of the electronic circuit board 20. Then the board 20 is supported by a holder 23, immersed in a liquid put in a vessel 21 and a discharge device 26 provided with two anodes 24a,24b and a cathode 25 at their center is descended from above the metallic piece 10. A voltage is impressed between the anodes and the cathode to generate arc discharge between the tip of the cathode 25 and the midpoint of the link 10c thereby cutting off the middle part.
