PURPOSE:To stably cool a superconducting winding by making the the quantity of a resin impregnated in the base material fiber of a spacer to be such as not to ooze out the surface of the base material when the spacer is wound with definite tension nor to flow out in a gap for cooling at the time of heating for hardening. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 3d wherein a flowing resin 5b of viscosity 50 poises or less is impregnated in a base material 4 such as glass string approx. 15-30 weight % is heated and halfhardened to 150 poises or less and is spirally wound around a superconducting wire 2. The resin 5b between the base materials 4 is pressed out to become a resin 5c and no bubble 7 remains. In the superconducting winding of this constitution, a resin 5a flowing out in a gap 6 is of a small quantity, the gap 6 is secured widely, the resin 5c oozing out of the surface of a spacer 3e adheres to the adjacent spacer 3c and no bubble 7 exists. Accordingly, the adhesive power between the superconducting wires 2 is not reduced, a wide gap is secured and stable cooling is possible by making a refrigerant flow without checking. |
