PURPOSE:To surely attain the confirmation during operating another system, by detecting the fault of a confirming signal during operation, and an error in the contact information, when they are generated. CONSTITUTION:System control tasks 4 and 9 are equipped with state change informing parts 16, and contact input/output malfunction deciding parts 17 respectively. The state change informing part 16, when its own system control task detects the shutdown of another system computer from the contact input device of its own computer, and it is possible to communicate between computers 1 and 2, informs the fact that the contact input of the shutdown of another system computer is executed to another system computer as the state change, by using data sources and sinks 5 and 10 and an inter-computer communication transmission line 13. Also, the contact input/output malfunction deciding part 17, when it receives the state change information regarding the contact input of the shutdown of another system computer from the data source and sink, decides whether its own system operation state and the state change information are coincided or not, and when they are different, a process that decides it as the malfunction of a contact input/output is performed.
