<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the absoption of a pi mode of a wave absorber, by metalizing the ceramic wave absorber on a contact surface with a pole piece, while also metalizing a partial range of the surface at the interaction space side. CONSTITUTION:In a coaxial magnetron, the contact surface of a wave absorber 7 with a pole piece 6 is metalized and a metalized pattern 72 is installed on the surface of the wave absorber 7. With a metalized layer 71, contact between the ceramic wave absorber 7 and the pole piece 6 is improved, therefore thermal conduction resistivity in a contact part decreases, whereby the wave absorber 7 is effectively cooled, and absoption efficiency is no longer dropped. In addition, adhesion works better and it is in no case slipped off during operation, while assembly is easy enough. The absoption of a pi mode is suppressed by the metalized pattern 72 installed on the surface of the wave absorber 7.</p> |
