PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent electrical properties and high heat-resistance and useful as a flame-retardant laminated sheet, etc., by compounding a specific polybutadiene-epoxy compound with a flame-retardant vinyl monomer, an organic peroxide and an epoxy resin hardener. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by compound (A) 100pts.(wt). of a compound produced by reacting a terminal carboxyl-modified butadiene polymer containing, in the polymer chain, >=50% 1,2-butadiene unit having double bond on side chain with 1.2-15 equivalent of an epoxy compound containing >=2 epoxy groups in one molecule with (B) 25-100pts. of one or more 2,4,6-tribromophenyl compounds of formula I-III (X is H or CH3) or 25-200pts. of a compound of formula IV (X is Br or Cl; m and n are 1-4; Y is H or CH3; A is single bond, O, CO, SO2, etc.) and compounding the obtained mixture with an organic peroxide and an epoxy resin hardener.
