PURPOSE:To obtain a picture whose graduation change is smooth in the subscanning direction by recording and outputting density information obtained by the synthesis of density information of preceding and succeeding lines in receiving a color facsimile broadcast signal and inputting color difference information. CONSTITUTION:The lst density information inputted from an A/D converter 11 is written on a RAm 18 and when the lst color difference information is inputted, no process is executed. The 2nd density information is written on a RAM 19 and the lst density information written on the RAN 18 is outputted to a comaprator 27 via a switch circuit 17. When the end color difference information is inputted, the 1st density informatoin written on the RAM 18 and the 2nd density information written on the RAM 19 are read and inputted to an information conversion circuit 20, which outputs the corresponding density information to thecomparator 27. The similar operation is repeated to the density information and color difference information inputted sequentially.
