PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent space ventilation system wherein the growth of molds and generation of contaminations are prevented and noise is reduced by disposing a DC ventilation fan of a low capacity on the wall of a living room under a high airtight condition, and a DC power supply is connected thereto. CONSTITUTION:An exhaustion and suction DC ventilation fan 3 of a low capacity is disposed at a ventilation port 2a at the upper part of a northern side of a living room 1 having a high airtightness. The fan 3 is connected to a solar cell 4 installed in the outdoors, and another ventilation port 2b is provided at a position facing the DC ventilation fan 3. The DC ventilation fan 3 is operated by the solar cell 4 to put the interior of the living room 1 into a positive or negative pressure state which is slightly more or less than that of external air whereby exhaustion or suction of air in the vicinity of the DC ventilation fan 3 is carried out. The indoor ventilation is carried out by a convection effect generated thereby and a convection effect of air within the living room generated by solar radiant heat. By using the solar cell 4, it is made possible to automatically operate the ventilation fan 3 everyday periodically in most effective time zone.
