PURPOSE:To reduce the energy loss and to fix a stator in stabilized condition, by bringing a rotor into contact with the vertex of a eliptical locus on the surface of the stator by bending progressive waves excited by the stator. CONSTITUTION:An impression of AC voltage to a piezoelectric element l excites bending progressive waves to a stator S, by which the turning force acts on a rotor 3 and the rotor 3 rotates. The rotor 3 is brought into contact with the vertex of eliptical locus on the surface of the stator by bending progressive waves excited to the stator S. The friction between the piezoelectric element l and an outer rim 7 is reduced in the presence of synthetic resin material 10, the low fricative member. |
