PURPOSE:To provide an air shower device of high efficiency with less power consumption by setting an imaginary rotary column at the central portion within a capsule, forming a lateral flow air curtain in a direction identical with the rotating direction of the imaginary rotary column by cutting the lateral flow air curtain by the column, also forming an airstream turning and advancing from the wall surface of other horizontal wall, and setting the upright position of a person to be processed at the central portion of the imaginary rotary column. CONSTITUTION:An air flow fed through a large number of holes 43 formed in a vertical cylinder 42 is blown off from a blow-off port 41. An imaginary rotary column 6 is set at the central portion within a capsule 21, and a lateral flow air curtain 44 is cut by the imaginary rotary column 6. At a cutting point 61, the lateral flow curtain 44 is formed in a direction which is identical with the rotating direction of the imaginary rotary column 6, thus directing the lateral flow air curtain toward an intake port 52. A turning advancing air stream 7 forms a whirlwind, thus is directed toward the intake port 52. The turning air flow speed of the air stream is extremely high and the dedusting processing is carried out extremely rapidly and positively. Thus, when the airstream reaches the intake port 52 of a blasting duct 51 and is sucked up and shifted, it passes through a dust collector and is dedusted and purified, and circulated to the blow-off port 41.
