BLOCK WITH PEEP WINDOW FOR MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT

PURPOSE:To exactly grasp the condition of soil and sand on the back side of a revetment from outside by providing a block with a peep window on places of concrete blocks set in parallel on the slope of a levee. CONSTITUTION:Concrete blocks 8 are set in parallel on the slope of the levee 9 of river 11 for the construction work of revetment. In this case, blocks 1 with peep windows 3 are provided in places of the blocks 8 at a given interval. The condition of soil and sand on the back side of the revetment can exactly be grasped because the blocks 1 have the transparent peep windows.
