摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent gain reduction even when beam is scanned over a wide angle by controlling the feeding power ratio of each circularly polarized batch antenna to make the maximum radiation direction of an element antenna coincident with the radiation beam direction of the array antenna. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a transmission source 7 is distributed by a power distributor 6 and sent to variable phase shifters 5a-5n. Th phase of phase shifters 5a-5n is set so that the phase of signals radiated from element antennas 9a-9i is in common in a direction 3 of the radiation beam. The set signal is sent to the antennas 9a-9n. The signal power is distributed in the antennas 9a-9n so that the maximum radiation direction of each element antenna is made coincident with the direction 3 by variable power distributors 15,13 at first and when the direction 3 is at the outside of the variable range of the maximum direction, the direction approaches the maximum direction by distributing the signal power. Then the distributed power is fed to circularly polarized wave batch antennas 11a-11d vie batch feeders 12a-12d. The antennas 11a-11d irradiate the fed signal to space.
