PURPOSE:To satisfactorily repair the flaw, etc., of a yellowed white coated surface by dissolving a varnish component sticking the wall of a hot air drying furnace of a white painting line in a solvent then filtering the soln. to obtain a slight color tone component, dissolving such component in a thinner, and using the repair liquid obtd. in such a manner. CONSTITUTION:The varnish component sticking to the wall of the hot air drying furnace of the white painting line is dissolved in the solvent such as acetone and thereafter the soln. is filtered and the solvent is evaporated to obtain the slight color tone component. The repair liquid obtd. by dissolving such component at >=0.5wt% in the thinner is coated wet on wet on the white paint coated on the repair part of the white coated surface. The repair part exhibits the same tendency as the color fading in the general part by hot air drying according to the above-mentioned repair method and therefore, the good repair is executed without the generation of a color difference therebetween.
