PURPOSE:To obtain the thermal recording paper having sufficient coloring density, for which the fading of a picture part due to a plasticizer is prevented, by a method wherein lyuco dye and specific hydroxydiphenylsulfone a a developer are used and further, thermal fusible material is also contained. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording paper uses 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7- anilinofluoran and/or 3-pyrrolidino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran as a lyuco dye and hydroxydiphenylsulfone compound of general formula (1) as a developer and further, contains thermal fusible material. The developer is used by 200-600 pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of color former. The thermal fusible material is required for obtaining sensitivity sufficient for practical use and its additional amount shall be 1-50wt% in all solid contents. Thus, by using the selected color former, developer, and thermal fusible material, efficient coloring density can be possessed and further, the fading of the picture part due to plasticizer is prevented. Besides, by jointly using phenol series oxidation inhibitor, its fading can be further lessened. |
