COATING MATERIAL FOR ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE

PURPOSE:A one-pack type coating material for electrical resistance, obtained by dispersing fine powder of carbon black and/or graphite in a varnish consisting essentially of an epoxy resin, polyvinylphenol, xylene resin and imidazole compound and curable at low temperatures. CONSTITUTION:A coating material obtained by dispersing (B) fine powder of carbon black and/or graphite in (A) a varnish consisting essentially of (i) an epoxy resin, (ii) polyvinylphenol and (iii) xylene resin and imidazole compound. The coating material is preferably constituted of 61-86wt% component (i), 10-29wt% component (ii) and 1.5-13wt% component (iii). USE:Suitable for printed resistors formed on resin substrates.
