PURPOSE:To smooth a work of coupling a ball pin to a ball retainer and to improve workability, by a method wherein a lock part for the end of a wiper ring is situated to the intermediate part of a motor arm. CONSTITUTION:The one end of a motor arm 2 is secured to the end of the output shaft of a wiper motor 1, a spherical part 3a is secured to the other end of the motor arm 2 by means of a ball pin 3, and a lock part 4 for the end of a link is mounted to the intermediate part of the motor arm 2. A bail retainer 12 and a lock part 11 on the link side are mounted to the one end of a wiper link 10. When the ball retainer 12 is coupled to the spherical part 3a, workability can be improved by using moment of a force produced by the lock parts 4 and 11 and exerted centering around an angaging point serving as a fulcrum.
