PURPOSE:To make it possible to cope with quick restoring and adjusting by detecting the variation of inductance by use of the closed loop electric circuit provided in a clutch for a torque limiter, outputting abnormal signals and stopping a drive system. CONSTITUTION:A clutch member Cl for a torque limiter is provided between the output side DO and input side DI of the drive system provided separately and opposingly and connects the both sides at specified torque. A covered lead wire (a) is threaded from both ends of a coil L1 into the interior of the input side DI to engage the contact of the output side DO with the brush C of a lead wire end. This leads the formation of a closed loop, that is, a normally closed switch which opens when something abnormal occurred. A coil L2 is arranged opposingly to the coil L1 and is provided with an a.c. bridge circuit composed of a coil L3 including the coil L2 in its side, resistors R1 and R2, variable resistor (r), and oscillator OS and a circuit rectifying the output. When the engagement of the brush C is released because of the slip of the clutch Cl due to overloading, the switch 4 opens stopping the drive system through a comparator Cp and controller. |
