PURPOSE:To provide a feed additive for domestic animal and poultry, containing dried oyster and muscovado and aqueous extract of licorice at specific weight ratios based on the dried oyster and having excellent nutrient effect, appetite promoting action, safety, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective feed additive for domestic animal and poultry is composed of 100pts.wt. of dried oyster, 10-100pts.wt. of muscovado and 0.1-5pts.wt. of aqueous extract of licorice. Oyster has the activity of general nutrient because of rich glycogen component and balanced content of amino acids, taurines, various vitamins, iron, zinc, manganese and copper. Muscovado improves the palatability of assorted feed and activates intestinal microorganisms to promote the decomposition of roughage in feed and synthesis of protein, etc. The aqueous extract of licorice is effective in preventing and remedying various inflammations, etc., of domestic animal as well as promoting appetite of the animal.
