PURPOSE:To provide a jig which can easily attach and detach masking plates and is suitable for automation of a line by fixing a material to be subjected to a surface treatment to a conveying frame which can convey said material and freely attachably and detachably attaching the same to the masking plate to be provided to face the surface of the material to be treated. CONSTITUTION:The jig 30 for attaching the material A to be subjected to the surface treatment such as plating treatment to the conveying frame 20 which can convey said material is constituted as follows: The above-mentioned jig 30 is freely attachably and detachably attached to the masking plate B which is fixed to the conveying frame 20 and is provided to face the surface of the material A. The frame 20 is then installed to a machine to grasp the material A. The jig frame 10 is grasped by a pair of the jigs 30 near both ends of a main frame 11 and the plate B is grasped by respectively two pairs of the other jigs, by which the plating treatment of the material A is executed.
