PURPOSE:To improve durability by forming the elastic plate of an earthquakeproof device consisting of the lamination of the elastic plate and the metal plates from silicone rubber. CONSTITUTION:An earthquakeproof device consists of a plurality of iron plates 13, a plurality of silicone rubbers 14, and a flange 15, and the silicone rubber in liquid state is allowed to flow into between the laminated metals, and hardening adhesion is carried out at a room temperature. Since the silicone rubber is used for an elastic plate, the durability such as the temperature dependence and the frequency dependence of the dynamic characteristics and the variation of the creep characteristic for a long period can be improved in comparison with the case where natural rubber is used. |
