PURPOSE:To make it possible to hold multiple workpieces of different diameters with high efficiency in a device for holding workpieces such as circular magnetic disk by inserting the workpiece from above and along a V-groove of a positioning roller of a workpiece receiver. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit which has received a detection signal of a workpiece W supplies a specified pulse to a pulse motor 10 of a turning means 7 and makes a workpiece recover 2 corresponding to the workpiece W erect up to an upright condition detected with a light shield plate 14 and a sensor 15. Then, the workpiece W is inserted from above a positioning roller 3 of the workpiece receiver 2 along a V-groove 3a of the positioning roller 3. And when the insertion is detected with a workpiece insertion detection means 3c and 3d, thickness and others of the workpiece are measured with a measuring part, the workpiece W is released upward of the workpiece receiver 2 and sent to a next process. Thus, multiple workpieces of different diameters can be held at a same position, making it possible to improve efficiency and further to devise automation. |
