PURPOSE:To make it possible to freely turn the direction of a tool, by providing a stationary section provided with a locating pin, and a rotatable section journalling a tool chuck and being rotatably about a drive shaft relative to the stationary section. CONSTITUTION:A constraint member 27 is inserted in a constraint bushing 12 in association with the movement of a spindle head 1 or a table 30. Further, working medium such as hydraulic oil or the like is charged under pressure into a pressurizing chamber K from a pressurizing hole 22b in a locating block 22 through a communication hole 11a in a locating pin 11, a cylinder hole 13a in a stationary section 13 and a communication hole 13d. Further, a flange 23c if moved overcoming the resilient force of a fixing spring 26 to release the fixing of a rotary section 14 to the stationary section 13. Thereafter, a plurality of control shafts on the spindle head 1 and the table 30 are simultaneously moved, and therefore due to this movement of a spindle 2, the rotary section 14 is rotated about a drive shaft 4 relative to the stationary section 13 to turn the machining direction of a tool. |
