<p>PURPOSE:To simply raise hitting precisions of blowing stop carbon and stopping temp. of blowing, by calculating secondary combustion efficiency of CO based on respective concns. of CO, CO2, N2 in exhaust gas during converter blowing, and adjusting cooling material and blowing oxygen quantity based thereon. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary material is added from a hopper 7, a molten pig M is blown by a top blowing lance 2, a sublance 8 and a bottom blowing nozzle 9 in a converter 1. At the blowing of converter, each concn. of CO, CO2 and N2 in exhaust gas is measured in an exhaust gas analyzer 5 from sample obtd. by a sampling tube 4 set at an exhausting duct 3. Next, secondary combustion efficiency of CO n the converter 1 is calculated based on the each measured concn. value. The actual secondary combustion efficiency obtd. thereby is compared with previously obtd. standard secondary combustion efficiency to obtain the deviation. Quantity of cooling material such as scrap and blowing oxygen quantity are adjusted according to the deviation.</p> |
