PURPOSE:To uniformly heat a rod-like body by arranging a preheating burner toward a wall part of a heat insulating cylindrical case under some angle and making the emitted heat source to circling flow around the rod-like body for a ladle. CONSTITUTION:In case of preheating the refractory-made rod-like body 1 by using preheating device 2, the preheating device 2 is moved toward the bottom part of the ladle or a tundish, and the rod-like body 1 is inserted from an opening part of two-half dividable heat insulating cylindrical cases 5a, 5b as opening state. Next, the two-half dividable heat insulating cylindrical cases 5a, 5b are shut, to make the rod-like body 1 to enclosing state by the cylindrical case 5. Further, the heat source 10, 10 is made to the circling flow around the rod- like body 1, the rod-like body 1 is uniformly heated thoroughly without local heating up. |
