PURPOSE:To prevent over cooling of an injection sleeve by spraying directly the cooling water against the outer side of the injection sleeve and cooling the injection sleeve, which becomes to high temp. caused by supplying molten metal. CONSTITUTION:In a horizontal cold chamber type die casting machine, the injection sleeve 1 is supporting as inlaying to a fixed disk 2. A spray nozzle 5 is fitted at the tip of an arm 4, projected horizontally from the fixed disk 2, and the cooling water is sprayed from the nozzle 5 against the projecting outer side of the injection sleeve 1. And the spray of the cooling water is executed at the time, which a plunger 6 passes through a molten metal supplying hole 3 by injection movement. In this way, the injection sleeve 1, which becomes to high temp. caused by supplying molten metal, is cooled without over cooling. |
