The sales data input apparatus of the invention comprises:
- a first input terminal 11A for recording the sales data on each article sold and for transmitting the sales data and the item of data on the total value of the sale for each client, and
- an electronic cash register 20 comprising a plurality of memories allowing the data sent by the input terminals 11A, 11B for each client to be stored in memory, a printer 51, 52 and a control assembly 42 for controlling the printer 51, 52 on the basis of the sales data and the item of data on the total value of the sale for each client, and for printing these columns of data on a receipt.
