A catalytic converter exhaust silencer has an exhaust silencer housing (1) with a catalytic converter (5). A plurality of exhaust passages (6) is formed in the catalytic converter (5). A plurality of exhaust distributor plates (9a, 9b) is arranged in front of the flow inlet side (7) of the catalytic converter (5) and distributes the exhaust gas (A) flowing into the exhaust silencer housing (1) through the inlet (2) uniformly into the exhaust gas passages (6). <IMAGE>
