<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to display the amount of hot water in an analog manner, by providing a shape memory alloy spiral within a hot water storage tank. CONSTITUTION:Scales 0-50 with a unit of 1l are formed on the side of a glass window 2 of a hot water storage tank 1. A shape memory alloy spiral 3 is held perpendicularly in the vicinity of the glass window 2 by means of a support rod 4. Since in this apparatus, a position where the pitch of the shape memory alloy spiral 3 is abruptly varied exists at a position of a scale 20, for example, this indicates that 20l of hot water has been already prepared in an analog manner. Accordingly, if the position where the spiral pitch is abruptly varied is sometimes observed, hot water of less than a set temperature is not taken out unpreparedly through a take-out port 6.</p> |
