PURPOSE:To reduce the corrosion of a heat exchanger by means of reducing the contact area between dissimilar metals by joining tubes and fins together partially in the heat exchanger composed of the fins adhered to the tubes. CONSTITUTION:Brazing of a radiation fin 1 onto a base stand 2 is carried out by joining them together partially with fillets 4 of brazing material. Thereby, it is confirmed from the corrosion test result using salt water atomization that a maximum pitting depth is reduced to 2/3 and the number of pittings is reduced to 1/5 in comparison with those using conventional methods.
