The invention relates to a contact arrangement for a switching apparatus, preferably a contactor, having multiple interruption by means of contact touching points, which are connected in parallel, of two contact links which are clamped centrally in a contact operating element and are guided in a spring loaded manner. In this case, the contact links have finger-like attachments which extend transversely with respect to their longitudinal direction and engage in the movement zone of the other contact links in such a manner that pivoting of the contact links with respect to one another about the clamping-in point is virtually precluded.
