<p>PURPOSE:To retard precipitation of slurry of H2-occlusion alloy powder and to prevent blocking, etc., by dissolving a soluble compound inert to H2 in the solvent of the slurry, thereby increasing the viscosity of the slurry. CONSTITUTION:A solvent consisting of a saturated hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon or alicyclic hydrocarbon composed solely of C and H is prepared beforehand. A soluble compound inert to H2 is dissolved in the solvent to increase the viscosity of the solvent to <=30cp. H2-occlusion alloy powder is suspended in the thickened solvent to obtain a slurry, which is made to contact with an H2-containing gas.</p> |
