PURPOSE:To shorten the feed time of a reaction pipe without increasing the turning speed of a turntable by rotating the turntable by (N-n)P in every step when N is the total number of reaction containers, (n) is an optional number, and P is the array pitch of the reaction containers. CONSTITUTION:The turntable is rotated by (n) pitch (=n.p) less than one turn (=N.P), where N is the number of reaction containers 2 on the turntable 1 and P is the array pitch. Assuming that n=1, a container 2 which is, for example, at a position (a) is conveyed counterclockwise by one pitch to reach a position (e) and the rotation of the turntable 1 may be one pitch less than one turn. The feed time of the container 2 is therefore shortened without increasing the rotating speed and the efficiency of an analysis is improved while the vibration of the turntable 1 is unchanged. Further, when the efficiency of the analysis need not be improved, the rotating speed may be slower, so vibration of the table 1 is made less than before and data less in noise are obtained.
