PURPOSE:To prevent a leader part of a film from generating an accident by winding the film during the detection of the opening status of a back cover only for a period that a stand-by stroke of a release button is depressed, and at the loading of the film, sending the leader part to a spool at a slight pitch. CONSTITUTION:A dimming switch SW3 is turned on at the 1st stroke (stand-by stroke) of the release button 2 of an electric driving camera body 1 and a release switch SW2 is turned on by the 2nd stroke. Shutter speed information is inputted to an exposure control circuit by a shutter dial 3, and at the opening of the back cover 4, a back cover switch SWB is turned on, or at the closing of the back cover 4, the switch SWB is turned off. When a mode change-over switch is switched, film winding gears 6-8 are coupled with a film winding mechanism and the output of a motor M in the spool 9 is transmitted. Since the film winding is executed only the period that the 1st stroke of the button 2 is depressed during the detection of the opening status of the back cover 4, the leader part can be prevented from the generation of an accident at the loading of the film.
