PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which is low temperature-curable and gives a coated surface having excellent smoothness, etc., by blending a reaction product of a high-molecular compd. with an amine compd. and an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid with a specified epoxy resin derivative and a polycarboxylic acid ester. CONSTITUTION:100g of a high-molecular compd. (A) having an MW of 500-5,000 and C=C double bonds having an iodine value of 50-500 and contg. 0.5-12wt% oxirane oxygen is reacted with 30-300mmol of an amine compd. (B) of formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each a member selected from the group consisting of 1-20C hydrocarbon groups, etc.) and 0-200mmol of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (C) of formula II (wherein R3 and R4 are each H or methyl). 100pts.wt. reaction product is mixed with 0-150pts.wt. product obtd. by reacting the epoxy groups of an epoxy resin of formula III (wherein R5 and R6 are each H or a 1-10C alkyl; and n is a number of 0-20) with the component B and/or the component C and 5-200pts.wt. non-acidic polyester compd. of a polycarboxylic acid, said polyester compd. having ester groups capable of being crosslinked and cured. The mixture is partially neutralized with an org. acid and diluted with water.
