The swing has a supporting frame and a pivotally mounted swing linkage (9) which is fixedly connected to a rotatably mounted supporting rod (8). The two lateral end sections of the rotatably mounted supporting rod (8) extend into the inside of lateral support devices (2), in which a sound mechanism is installed. The sound mechanism consists of a pendulum (11) which is resiliently connected to the tubular supporting rod (8) and which, when a particular angle of swing is achieved, strikes against sound-boards (13) which are attached to the insides of the oblique supporting walls (4). The inner end walls (6) of the support devices (2) are transparent, so that the persons playing can observe the sound mechanism (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
